News and Notes: Get up to Speed!

Here are some updates (e.g., self-promotion) for those of you smart enough to avoid my Twitter feed:

I’ll be joining forces with titans of the legal industry at a new site, ConstitutionalDaily.Com. Join me, the Philadelphia Lawyer, and the always annoying host, I’ll probably write a piece or two per month for them, and I will always link to those here, but definitely check out the new site. There is some great talent over there. You can read my first piece, which is about money, happiness and keeping up with the Joneses, here. Also feel free to take a look at an artist’s interpretation of me in the office here.

“Crazy” is finished and galley copies have been sent to some major players in the literary industry for their endorsements. Keep your fingers crossed that they are willing to read it and, ideally, actually like it. “Crazy” hits the shelves on June 14. I’ll also be signing early copies at BookExpo America on May 26 in NYC. Apparently this isn’t open to the public, but I will be sure to provide you with all relevant celebrity gossip should I actually meet anyone.

Finally, my sexy, badass Author Page is available for you to criticize here. Did I mention it’s badass?

That’s it for now. Talk to you soon.

That’s really cool news. I’m adding the book to my Amazon wish list.

    Congratulations Dr. Rob!

I’ll be purchasing a copy of CRAZY no matter how impoverished I am at the time … should I have to sell my roommate into slavery well then so be it.

  3. Annie says:

Looking forward to read your book. 🙂

    P.S. – Badass indeed…

Uhhh just took a gander at your author page and I was wondering… is the serial killer look a marketing ploy?

Seriously if I had a choice to get locked in a closet with the guy in the pic from your author page or Dexter, I would have to say Dexter and even bring my own plastic wrap.

  6. Toni says:

Best of luck with ‘Crazy’, your writing has been an extremely positive influence on me.

  7. Cam says:

Yay! Just in time for my birthday.

    Dr. Rob,
Love you, man. Love your blog, your podcast and I fully support all your efforts to prostitute yourself all over town. BUT I started following your blog because you had insightful vignettes of the therapeutic experiences and it was funny, fascinating, engaging. You gotta mix up the little D-Rob tidbits with some reminders of why we began following you in the first place.

What the hell.. your coming out with a book? I cant wait. Has anyone wrote a book with the same premise? I feel psychology has not been revealed for what it really is. I can’t wait to read this. I am really excited you are putting your story out there, i am envious of your mindset and blogs and it has helped me become more passionate and excited about pursuing my PhD in psych. It is nice having an impact on people, isn’t it Dr. Rob? 🙂
I will help spread the news if when i read it it is a good book. Good work and I hope it sells millions. Good luck.
